Appropriate Memorial

  In view of todays tragedy, I sincerely hope that all remaining WTC buildings are destroyed, and a Memorial placed on the spot. I think it would be appropriate, and this is something I sincerely hope NONE of us forget.
  No matter what race, religion, or color of the victims, my heart goes out to all families who lost loved ones. DEATH is indeed the GREAT EQUALIZER. This is a tragedy all around.

  Also, whatever our political stance or opinion, one thing remains clear-most hard working people are the pawns of the politics and agendas of politicians and terrorists alike.

  The world will never be the same.

  It's 1am and I just watched a fairly long video of todays events on ABC news. One woman mentioned all the children who lost parents today. That is so true. I to would hope a memorial will someday be placed there.

  I have not been posting today because I now have 16 hours of tape. One day I will show this to my children and explain to them that this was the day America changed. I don't believe we even can begin to understand the ramifications of what occured today. Our way of life will never be the same. Believe it.

  So true, BoozeRunner -- and for that reason I'd like to offer up a prayer for those Americans of Middle Eastern descent. I just overheard a local news item about a Pakistani grocery that got sixteen death threats today! Can we get the word out that Afghanistan is NOT Pakistan, or India, or Iran, or Iraq, or...

  And that America is a country where people are held responsible for their own misdeeds, and being of the same nation as a terrorist is NOT enough to make you an accessory to their crimes?
