I was just wondering, how many planes were confirmed hijacked, or missing? Early on I had a figure of 8. Later news broadcasts only talked about 4 planes-2 @ WTC towers, 1@ the Pentagon, and the one in PA.
My sis mentioned a plane going down in Denver, and another friend told me that authorities are keeping a hush-hush on 3 planes that were shot down by our forces.
Has anyone else heard of these incidents? Just curious.

Also, late morning on Tues in PA it was reported that there were 2 additional planes hijacked. 1 out of Pittsburgh & ? oringination on the other. Later they reported the one out of Pittsburgh was not Hijacked; however, most of the day today it was reported here that a 5th plane went down. The weird thing was they never said where. Everyone was asking "why won't they tell us where it went down?" Funny though, by the time I got home from work and have been watching the reports since I've heard no more mention of this other plane but I can tell you 100% there were reports on the news of another plane crashing. They would give that info and then they would just end the sentence, that's it. I and many others heard that report today.
Peacepipe-yes, that was my experience. Mention of additional planes, then all of a sudden-NOTHING!!!

Between the threads on the "911" poster and Cassilines research into the name of that poster and the mystery plane etc, really makes you wonder what was really going on.
According to BBC just now on television, there were a total of 8 planes hi-jacked.
The remaining "unknown" four planes were shot down. So far there isn't any more news, but the information came from official US sources (FBI) it was said.
So, I guess the news will come out rather soon...
This is really a tragic story - and this time we can see how it is in the receiving end of terror. What we have seen before is only "surgical hits" - sheering people - being impressed by the accuracy of modern bombs.
It isn't that cute when being in the receiving end of accurate hits....
I do absolutely NOT support terrorist actions - not in the US - not anywhere else....
