To celebrate we're going to friend's cottage on the lake. There's going to be fireworks!!

I hope the weather is cooperative out there in the east for the fireworks. Its kind of overcast here at the moment.

No celebrating going on here. They go on, and on, and on about how we shouldn't drink and drive, which I agree with, but then they close the beer stores and liquor stores so if you want to have a beer or two after 6:00 PM you have to go out to a bar.

Is there any other country whose liquor laws are as stupid as ours?
