Yes, They didn't have a religious exception. Sadly the kid will probably die young anyway since the Lymphomia returned.

I think the hospitals are full of Witnesses willing to give up their lives for this belief. My daughters are nurses and they are talking about it all the time.
Patients on their death bed and refusing to take blood, or in many cases they won't take substitutes that are OK.
