Just a little history and perhaps why 3rd Witness is here NOW:

    http://www.aimoo.com/forum/postview.cfm?id=311102&CategoryID=2967&startcat=1&ThreadID=2585290

Robert King was on the wave of tremendous success right before he published
his book. His essay's ceartainly have a ring of truth to most JW's. Why?
Because Robert King kept proclaiming the Jehovah's Witnesses are indeed the
true religion (they only are in need corrective discipline). This is
something you will never find on apostate websites. But then trouble
started brewing on his DB (paradise cafe). The main culprit was the one
known as ThirdWitness (3W). At that time 3W was a big defender of both the
WT and RK (Robert King). But when 3W sided with the WT on the child abuse
policy, RK declared there will be no more discussion about the JW child abuse policy.
Afterwards 3W also began investigating the NGO issue, which he had taken for
granted as being true. He then began disputing some of the claims RK made
about the WT's involvment with the UN and also providing proof. It was at
this point that 3W, a big supporter of RK, was kicked off the DB for being
what was perceived as contentious(It was really 3W that was on the receiving
end of the name calling and contempt).

It was at this point that 3W discovered a book called "The Report". He
noticed an uncanny similarity between this book and the stated views of RK.
This prompted further research. Not only did 3W discover similer views, but
also identical words. Indeed whole paragraphs were repeated with only a few
lined swapped here and there. There was without a doubt clear evidence of
plagiarism. When 3W had enough evedince and was sure of his findings, he
published on the JehovahsJudgment.com domain (owned by Tim Kline). It was
at this time that RK / TK shut this site down and took it away from Al (a whole
other story). Immediately there was an edict that banned all links on the
DB, thus links to 3W's work was removed. However the excuse given was to
protect members of the DB from being exposed to apostate websites (Links to
these websites was a common occurance before 3W's links were posted).

Finally RK had to address 3W's accusations. The long and short of it was
that RK claimed he knew little about Donald Blumly (Burney) nor his book
    "The Report". RK stated:

"the recently released book Jehovah Himself Has Become King offered a
unique interpretation of Revelation from chapter seven to chapter eleven.
Does The Report delve into that portion of Revelation? Again, I doubt it".

A very curious response from someone who is not familier with the book.

Since Al had allowed 3W to post his essay's and views on his DB, Al was
viewed as an enemy to TK and RK. This is when I wrote the parody "2005 much
peace and love convention" which gave a brief history of what was happening
at the paradise cafe. Not to be outdone, TK decided to write his own parody
"The three stooges". (He denied writing this until recently because at the
time he was telling everyone he was taking the high road and would not
engage in such juvenile behavior). Some time after, TK registered at H2O
where 3W also posted quite often. For some reason TK thought he could out
debate 3W. In every instance 3W tore him to shreds. Really an
embarrassment, so much so that I felt sorry for TK. But he asked for it.
His only defense of RK and the plagiarism incident is that 3W should not
have ever purchased "The Report", an established as apostate propaganda.
Perhaps this is true, but neither should 3W have read RK's essays as
well since they mirror each other. Further 3W would admit he should not
have ever supported RK for several months in the first place.

The truth is 3W and Al were big time supporters of RK. However, being the
true boreans that they are, they decided to look critically at both RK and
the WT. They discovered that RK's views were ripe with half truths and out
    right contradictions of bible prophecy.

So where did RK and TK mess up? They should never have taken on 3W. He is
way out of their league. Not that is debating skills are far superior
(which they are), but it is mainly because he speaks the truth.

Hmmm, I was trying to debate with 3w last night, as were one or two others. He showed a marked reluctance to answer or even address direct questions, instead going off on a tangent whenever asked something he would not, or maybe could not, answer. Maybe he was just having an off day, debating - wise.

Thanks for posting this sKALLY, it clarifies a few things

Yeah, fullofdoubtnow on the 607 thread he just won't answer a direct question. he won't say who he is answering. I am waiting to see if he will answer directly my last post (he has not last I checked). I would say that I am not so interested in debating but discussing facts, and all he does is infer something and say we are ignoring the bible or think it is wrong, which I don't. all I ask is that we put all the FACTS out on the table without the rhetoric and devoid of human interpretation of the scriptures and just see what they say. About the whold RK-TK-3RDW thing. RK - is an idiot, he would not last 10min in a real life debate face to face. TK - I don't know much about him. 3RDW - He is proving that he is not honest is discussing things, I am currently an "active JW" and am interested in TRUTH above all else and if anyone believes Jehovah or God whichever you prefer is the God of Truth there should be no fear in pursuing truth. I think 3RDW got scared when he got taken in by the bafoon of the apostates and went running back to mother fearing that he had fell into the trap the GB scares everyone about "BOO". So to vindicate himself he has become an ardent defender of the JW/Society NO MATTER WHAT for fear that he may follow after a BAFOON again. Tip for 3RDW, DON'T FOLLOW MEN - (Psalm 146:3) 3 Do not put YOUR trust in nobles, Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. The GB are men right? -r

    Very intresting sKally.
It explains alot. The problem for 3W though is that he is now trying to play in the big leagues. He may be good, but he is not that good.

You KNOW, I thought RK had a good thing going and many topics made sense to a degree. The human factor always came to a head. This would include the name-calling, bashing and other known and unknown actions.

I have to admit that I am guilty of this by instigating certain matters in order to judge reactions and prove points of contention while writing reports and investigating matters and later using the responses in support of the human faults and fallacies.

Regardless of the point trying to be made by any opponent, the verbal jousting and tactics are somewhat entertaining to one degree or another and to outright deny this would be untruthful. The truth is, just who CAN you trust anymore? Almost everyone connected with the JWs are untrustworthy. Obviously, some people do not fall in to this category but a large percentage of people do.

It would seem after all of the smoke clears, there is still only one universal truth. There are many, many people that are wrong for a variety of reasons. Yes, I know, ME TOO, huh? LOL

Does it really matter that people like RK and others are deceiving us just like the mindless rank and file JWs that go on each day without a clue as to what is behind the closed doors of the WTB&TS?

Hypocrisy and self-righteous ego power trips are a common place in most religious organizations and most definitely in the PEOPLE associated with them (to a degree).

At times, perhaps, we should take serious action to correct these atrocities committed against the innocent. But what real support do we have without a boatload of cash in the bank to pay for the lawyers, court fees, etc.? We don’t have a chance to succeed.

We must keep ever watchful and take those to task for their actions against us as a people and individually. This is simply a betrayed trust and we should expect to get shafted by the charlatans and snake oil salesman. After all, many of us use to believe without question, the WTB&TS and then when we did ask questions, the answers we received (if any at all) started to open our eyes and we began to think for the first time without asking permission to do so……….

Ok. Hypocracy and plagerism: not exactly a foreign concept in the Watchtower.

However, how does this affect us, because we don't actually know these people anyway, right? Did I miss something?

    Anitar,

You are correct. But no one will listen.......business as usual.
