This Generation

The November 1, 1995 Watchtower articles, "Saved From a “Wicked Generation” and "A Time to Keep Awake" introduced new light on the meaning of "this generation".

If this is the case, then why is there an article currently on the Watchtower's official website entitled "Gods purpose soon to be realized"?

Maybe Jehovah's Witnesses will also be interested in seeing this 'bait and switch tactic' that the Watchtower is feeding the unsuspecting public first hand.

The following subheading and paragraph in the article should get the alarm bells ringing amongst jehovah's witnesses:

    How Close Are We?

How long a time period would these last days prove to be? Jesus said regarding the era that would experience the "beginning of pangs of distress" from 1914 onward: "This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur." ( Matthew 24:8 , 34-36 ) Thus, all the features of the last days must take place within the lifetime of one generation, the generation of 1914. So some people who were alive in 1914 will still be alive when this system comes to its end. That generation of people is now very advanced in years, indicating that there is not much time left before God brings this present system of things to an end.

." Thus, Jehovah's Witnesses are united in a global brotherhood by an unbreakable bond

I don't think so! Not when they let the members in Maliwi be tortured and killed by telling them to refuse to buy a 25 cent ID card from the government...while at the same time letting the members in Mexico BRIBE officals to lie for them.

Oh those fun articles about the "generation", how I miss them (to chuckle over). I am sure that the GB keep thinking that they were given visions for heaven that the end was near because of the year 2000 coming up. They wanted to party like it was 1999, because the "end was near". Hmmm, but then again, as JWs say a year to a human is but a day to god (or something like that, who can bother to remember). So this could keep going FOREVER. Those crazy cooky JWs, what are ya gonna do w/ them.

How can you find it? Click:God's purpose soon to be realized. You really have to dig deep to get to the spiritual truths!! ENJOY !!!! I copied the whole page in my e-mail and put this one font modification and comment in. Thus, all the features of the last days must take place within the lifetime of one generation, the generation of 1914. So some people who were alive in 1914 will still be alive when this system comes to its end. ( 2006-1914 = 92 year old people are the only ones left in this generation, the end must come soon)
