Hello all brothers and sisters, I am a newbie. I have been lurking around for several months now. I am a disassociated Witness that was fed up with all the hipocrisy of the society. I am thankful to be in this forum and finally coming forward.

After watching the events this week, I was inspired to help. I was really angry at how the Watchtower responded. No help at all. I decided that it is time to act. I have put together a charity and I ask all of you to help.

Visit the free website I have put together: http://globalcharity.7p.com/

It is a simple site, but with the help of employees at my present employeer have already donations in the amount of $3,775.00. Every little bit helps. In other sites you can donate to individual charities such as the Fireman's Association and United Way. My goal is to gather as much donations and devide them evenly between four major organizations.

Another of my goals is to help without profiling religion or race as we were brainwashed by the Watchtower. Their famous motto is "first our brothers" and if we have something left, the others. We must help everyone. There are many victims of this tragedy. Let us help. I pray that you too will help.

    Thank you all.

Thanks all for your support. Let us also pray for those that have been affected by this horrible act. I will post an update on how much we have donated together in the morning.

Up till 8 a.m. CDT, donations were $129.00. I will be sending all donations by Monday 3:00 p.m. CDT. Thank you all that have donated, but I think we can do a bit better. Open your hearts, we do not want to just talk, but act upon our love. God bless each one of you.

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve the page, please post here or email me. I made it simple and to the point for this purpose. Also I am not too happy with BizHosting because they have added their money-making add on top. They said this would not happen, but oh well. If anyone has a free server that will not put their own adds, let me know.

Let's all unite on this effort.

No one knows who the hell you are. Why should anyone send YOu their money. Reputable charities already exist like the Red Cross for those who wish to donate.Watch out for scammers peeps!
    SCAMMER ALERT!!!!!

    Tina:

You are very right. We have to be careful. I apologize for not introducing myself. I have to say that I enjoy your posts very much, you are very sincere and say things like they are. I respect that.

Like I said before, I am a newbie posting here. My name is Anthony Johnston and I am trying to made a difference. I am tired of people like the Witnesses take credit for things they do not do. They say that they help people, but do nothing to help the victims of this terrorist attack. I would have sent all the "volunteers" at Bethel to ground zero to help clean up.

Anyway, I apologize again for my anger towards Witnesses. I have been lurking in this forum for many months and feel this is my new family. We all see eye to eye, at least in respects to the WTBTS.

I also agree that there are many reputable charities. At my present employer, they are doing a campaign to donate to United Way. Many of us also organized a blood drive. This is what I mean by acting, and not just talking about it. I put together the above referenced website to help out. Although the site is very simple, I am dividing 100% of all donations among the four major charity organizations involved in New York and Washington. It is just something that makes me feel good about, since my desire is to help the victims.

    I hope this information helps.

    Love,

    Tony.

p.s. We are up to $176.00 in donations from this forum alone. As of 11:26 a.m. CDT. Thank you all.
