Isn't the main ingredient of this stuff Ma Huang? If so, this is a wonderful herb if taken as directed. A product with Ma Huang in it, let me lose over 100 pounds back in 1998. (It gave me my life back.) Like anything else, it can be harmful if an overdose is taken. Hell, aspirin will kill you if you take a whole bottle. BTW, a federal judge just lifted the ban on Ma Huang. He said the "evidence" used to get it banned was basically hyped up, if not cooked up.

Not sure where the misunderstanding is but:
Pseudoephedrine is present in some cold remedies sold over the counter (e.g. Nurofen Cold and Flu in the UK).
Ephedrine is more potent, is amphetamine-like in effect, and can I believe be boiled up to make methamphetamine, also many people use as a diet pill.
MDMA is a specific chemical substance called Methylenedioxymethamphetamine.
To describe ephedrine and caffeine as another form of MDMA is nonsensical.
So herbal ectsasy is no different to having a cold remedy with a cup of coffee (does perk you up quite a bit, but not in anywhere the same league as MDMA!).
