Mr. Outnfree doing well...

  Just thought this would be the quickest way to let those of you who have sent positive thoughts and prayers our way know that my husband survived Thursday's open heart surgery with flying colors (more or less -- a too long getting off the ventilator for my nerves!) and is moving to a "step-up" post-surgical floor out of ICU this morning. Instead of a triple by-pass he got a quintuple bypass operation. But he's already sitting up and eating and breathing well.

  It's been a helluva week, hasn't it?

  How fortunate I feel.

  Great news! (he remained faithful on the blood issue, didn't he?) I'd hate to have to shun him now, seems like he might need support at a time like this.

  Thanks for the update on hubby's well being. I was thinking about you and your family. I'm sure you and your kids are greatly relieved.

  I don't know about the rest of you, but this week has made me reflect on the important things in life...NEVER letting a day go by without telling those we love how important they are to us.

  Out, I look forward to seeing you in chat again when things settle down.
