My sister was a big Mod Squad fan. I loved Peggy Lipton; she was so beautiful. She still looks great; she was on Alias a couple of years back. She was married to Quincy Jones.

I liked the show when I was a teenager. THere is a site that offers old TV shows. I didn't see the Mod Squad on it, but you never know what they may offer in the future. They have many DVD's of shows I've never seen offered elsewhere. I've not purchased from them as yet. Lemme know what you think.

I'm just PEACHY, Dansk. I'm back at work after a LOOOONG vacation, and just a LITTLE worn out. I've rescued one red tomato off my vine, and I'm hoping the weather holds just a few more weeks. Otherwise I'll be looking for recipes for fried green tomatoes.

I don't recall this show so very well as my 37 y.o. baby brother does, except that I wanted long blonde hair like Julie's and Pete wasn't as cute to me as Peter on the Monkees. (When it was running, we would have been in kindergarten and 1st grade LOL.)
Funny thing is, my brother is To This Day fond of saying, SOLID, like Link, and precious few get it without a reference to the Squad! Sometimes he makes a "black power" fist for emphasis when he says it, but I'm not sure that was part of Link's persona or just the times and he's playing a mimicky kindergartener. Anyway, Link's SOLID has become an inside joke between us, like Julie's RIGHT ON, and I'm sure to use it the next time we [have a JW deprogramming session] speak on the phone.
