  Dear Abby,

  I have two brothers and two sisters. One brother is a Jehovah's Witness Circuit Overseer, and the other one was just sentenced to death for murder.

  My mother died from insanity when I was very young. My two sisters are prostitutes, and my father sells narcotics to feed the family.

  Recently I met a girl who was recently released from a feformatory where she served time for smothering her illegitimate child, and I want very much to marry her.

  My problem is this: If I marry this girl, should I tell her about my brother who is the Circuit Overseer?

  Yes. If you have any children, they might inherit some of the same genes he has. The child could grow up to become a circuit overseer or pioneer or elder's wife if a girl. She would be taking a high risk and she needs to know this going in. There is no genetic testing for this faulty set of genes. Your love might end up terrified and smother the rest of her future babies. Lots to think about there. You both might want to consider being sterilized.

  for crissakes dont tell anyone about your brother being a circuit overseer. Any self respecting drug dealer, murderer armed robber or prostiture wouldnt give you the time of day if they knew.

  I suggest you pretend he is in a mental institution, and pay a friendly mentalist to imitate him on the occasion of pretend birthdays.
