If God has a name is that name Jehovah?
Having studied the Bible for many years along with
individuals on this discussion board, often times it
crosses my mind whether or not God has a name.
If so, is that name Jehovah as what we were taught
as Jehovah's Witnesses? The name Yahweh in Hebrew
and the Tetragrammaton YHWH, do these have any
significance?
Not defending the Watchtower
The questions presented above are not in support
of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. However,
curiosity still grips me regarding whether or not God
has a name...or does God even exist?
Although, I am not sure of either of these questions
I still will respect the name of God whether it is
Jehovah, Yahweh or anything else, should he exist.
Still searching for the meaning of life
Admittedly, I am still searching and trying to
make sense as to who, what, where, why or
when, we as human beings were placed here
and for what reason .
Understandably, the Watchtower does not have
the answers and as of present I am an agnostic
who is very hesitant to even consider entertaining
the thought of becoming involved with another
religion.
Did anyone on this discussion board ever think
about whether or not God exists?
Respectfully,
The Wanderer
