O TYPE POSSIBLY PROTECTS AGAINST SMALLPOX ETC ETC.

I'm sure I read that group A was the original blood group when we were vegetarian and then group B developed as we became meat eaters.
Not sure how true it is - I think it was on some diet/healthy eating website where they recommend different foods for different blood groups. Maybe someone else can clarify.

it is believed that group b may have originated in mountainous area(Pakistan) BECAUSE B type people tend to have tolerance to high altitudes.(something like that)
