'Time', not a constant in the Universe!

    When I was a good ole JW, going out in service, counting my 'time', I noticed something strange.

    I could drive to one side of the county, make a back-call, and then drive clear through town as slow as I could and then out of town to the other side of the county to make another back-call. The total time it took to do this was about 6 minutes.

    If I was not out in service and was trying to rush, say to a movie, it took at least 45 minutes to get through town alone! What causes this phenomenon?

    Thats so true.

    The standard length of a meeting was about 5 warp year hours. But the time inbetween meetings was approximately 3 earth year minutes. Sometimes the next meeting was starting before the last one had finished. How did that happen?

    Yes, I have observed this phenomenon. Space is increased linearly according to how great your desire to get thru service.

    You're only 100. You've got plenty of time.
    The WTS soon will be misquoting a physicist about time not being a constant to excuse all their failed Armageddon dates.

    Someone needs to come with a mathmatical formula to explain this.

    The following is a shot at this.

    r= Field service hrs reported

    d=Hrs spent drinking

    f=Hrs spent fornicating

    m=Actual min in field service

    gp=good + publisher

    n = >10

    r - (d + f ) = m where n x r =gp

    Time does go slow in field service- everyone makes a call to start the clock- then we did the return visits and we hoped somebody got into a long conversation or better yet invited inside while the rest of of sat in the car. With luck you got your two hours in and never actually talked to anyone- placements were mags left at a not-at-home. What a waste of a Saturday morning.
