I wouldn't have done this if I were a dub

I've been recording gospel music for my mother. She has always loved gospel music, and since she's in the hospital I wanted her to have access to it. So, I bought her a CD player and I've been downloading gospel music for her. Now, you all know that this would be a GREAT sin for a dub, but I feel no shame or remorse. I'm happy to be able to do something for mother.

Not being a dub makes life SO much simpler! Thank GOD!! Hallelujah!

Get these shackles off my feet so that I can dance! I just wanna praise you, just want to praise you!

I think mom's music is getting to me!

If there's anyone who has a good list of Gospel music, pm me!

    Thanks

You can buy the soundtrack to 'Gospel' the movie.

London Community Gospel Choir are good but the 'new kids' on the UK scene are the Oslo Gospel Choir.

    I'll send you a PM

I can't get that song out of my head now either, lol!

I dig the sort of old tyme mountain gospel such as on the "Oh Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack", but that's about it.

Lots of gospel music, both new and old, on emusic.com. I get most of my music there. You can have 90 tracks a month, every month, for only $20. Works out to about 22ยข apiece.

I'm not a gospel fan, but I will say this. I thank God I am free to like it if I want to. Having a clear conscience feels good.

    I love gospel music

Donnie McClurkin song We fall down saved my life. I was feeling so low when this came out. I had just left my husband and was feeling horrible about it. I felt like there was nothing to live for, I couldn't please Jehovah. And I heard this song while driving and cried so hard. And it felt like God had literally touched me and I felt I had made the best decision of my life and that Jehovah understood. He knew my heart.

Another tear jerker.. Yolanda Adams - Open my heart

These songs made me feel like Jehovah would be there for me no matter what! I still believe that.

thats all i listen to...i will recommend a couple of artists that really pick me up..some have already been listed..

Yolanda Adams, Martha Munizzi, Donnie McClurkin, Any of the Winans (CeCe, Vickie, BeBe), Virtue, Trin-i-tee, Tye Tribbet (has alot of danceable songs more geared towards younger ones/teens), a whole lot more people but thats all coming to mind right now.

There's this one song by Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir called "He's God"..whenever I hear that song I start crying..the lady's voice thats singing just does something each and every time. Then the church I attend a girl in the choir sounds different from the BTC but she makes me cry too....

its alot more out there....we have a couple of gospel radio channels that I listen to all the time so alot of songs I love I don't really know who sings them..
