I was reading the Message Bible and I LOVED what it had to say! As I read it I thought, "Wow, that hits it RIGHT on the nail!"
Galations 4: midway through (my copy doesn't show the verses) - 'Those heretical teachers go to great lengths to flatter you, but their motives are rotten. They want to shut you out of the free world of God's grace so that you will always depend on them for approval and direction, making them feel important.
I loved it! I hope it means something positive for you!
I enjoy that translation too but I'm careful to use another translation with it.

The Holman Chritian standard bible has a nice rendering of this verse;
"They are enthusiastic about you, but not for any good.Instead they want to isolate you so that you will be enthusiastic about them"
