    Hi,

I am not a Jehovah's Witness however I do agree with quite a bit of what you believe in, I have a question though and was hoping that someone could answer it for me.

I'm almost sure that I remember that there are scriptures explaining what has happened -as far as all this awfulness we've seen this week- and what is inevitably going to happen from here on in. Could somoene point me to those scriptures?

    Thank you so much

    Greetings!

Are you positive someone or some group quoted scriptures from the Bible predicting the attacks? Are you sure it was not after the fact?

Where did JW's fit into the picture? Are you a JW student? Just wondering.

I'm sorry... not that it was explicitly implied, but just in general the regression of the world as we know it. I can't say I'm a student, no but I have studied in the past and remain sort of on the fence. I believe so much of what I studied with the witnesses, but there are some things that just don't jive for me, so that's why.

I thought there was something in Rev about the events that would lead to... i guess Armageddon? That's all I'm looking for.

I have to step out for a bit but I'll be back later if you find anything. Thank you.

How did one poster's JW dad put it?

The fall of false religion is supposed to come FIRST -- so this is NOT the beginning of Armageddon.

Hang around here and you will likely no longer be a fence-sitter!

The Great Tribulation is a prelude to Armageddon. The fall of "false religion" is therefore defined, I believe, as the beginning of the GT. The atttack on "God's chosen people" is a prelude to armageddon.

I believe it's that the ?10 horned wild beast turns on it's rider the Harlot.

If I remember correctly that 10 horned wild beast represents the UN (that is, combined nations acting in a single concerted effort) and the Harlot represents false religon (particularly those who claim to reprsent Christ); therefore, it is with justifiable reason that the 10 horned wild beast turns on the Harlot, one being that I can think of, it's hypocrisy.

Look at how they are preaching love and unity and tolerance, when
"chrisitans" are perhaps the single leading force throughout the centuries that have killed people numbering in the millions. Now they are automatically innocent?

People are not stupid they will wake up to this obvious hypocrisy or conflict of interest, or whatever you want to call it.

Get your dogma straight next time people. Maybe I've got it wrong too, it can change so often.

Yeah I know JWs are always saying this is it.

To set a little point straight, the "war of the great day of God the Almighty", mentioned in Revelation chapters 16 and 20 occurs AFTER the 1000 year reign of Christ.
