Can anyone confirm the validity of this WOL post?

Brother Jaracz of the governing body was the guest speaker at our one day assembly today. He, too, concentrated on our role as comforters of those who mourn when we are in the field during this time. He also emphasized the opportunity that we have to speak to persons who seem to be more receptive to our message because the tragic events caused many to think about Armageddon, or at least, the end of their personal comfort zone.
The way that the Brooklyn Bethel brothers opened up their dorms and kitchens and let displaced people in and fed and gave them a place to rest should demonstrate the sincerity of our motives - we do, not just talk, just like we have done in other countries.

From what I understand from other posts on the WOL board and quotes there from emails sent by Bethelites, the "displaced people" were JWs touring Bethel that day, or JWs coming across the bridge from Manhattan.

Help was not extended to non-believers.

Already the WT PR machine swings into full gear trying to make themselves smell nice. But they can't hid from the info that was learned in the first day or 2 following the disaster - even their PR video reveals that no movement was made (at least immediately) to reach out to non-JWs.

They also locked the doors as soon as the tragedy happened, and NO ONE got inside without proper ID.

It's true that the only ones who were housed and fed, were a tour group stranded in Brookly. All in the tour were dubs.

A JW friend told my husband and I that the info about Brooklyn locking it's doors is totally untrue and that she heard from "an unsolicited source, that the brothers in Brooklyn welcomed people in and even offered machinery and equipment to aid in the rescue efforts". I know she is being given typical WT spin, most likely the equipment was sent to other JW's. The person who told her is in "housekeeping" at Bethel. Probably some poor "sister" cleaning toilets was give the info by the ones "taking the lead" up there.
