WTS contradictions and Lies

Part of my strategy in talking with current JW's is using the Watchtowers own publications against them. It is not sipmly good enough to show them something wrong in an old publication, you also must show where they covered up or contradicted the particuliar teaching or event in a more rescent publication. A prime example of this is how the Watchtower states that a correct understanding of spiritism must have been understood by the group who became the faithful slave. Notice this rescent quote:

*** w90 3/15 p. 13 par. 18 ?The Faithful Slave? and Its Governing Body *** On arriving to inspect his slaves in 1918, therefore, whom did the Master, Jesus Christ, find giving to his body of attendants their measure of food supplies at the proper time? Well, by then, who had given sincere truth-seekers the correct understanding of the ransom sacrifice, the divine name, the invisibility of Christ?s presence, and the significance of 1914? Who had exposed the falsehood of the Trinity, immortality of the human soul, and hellfire? And who had warned of the dangers of evolution and spiritism? The facts show that it was the group of anointed Christians associated with the publishers of the magazine Zion?s Watch Tower and Herald of Christ?s Presence, now called The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah?s Kingdom. (emphasis added)

So they should have been free from spiritism at this time right? Wrong. The Golden Age Magazine promoted a book that was written by a spirit medium, called 'Angels and Women':

What other contradictions and lies do you know of that exist in the more current publications?

They also used that Johannes Gerber guy (sp?) to back up translations and interpretations. John 1:1 comes to mind. then later accused him of being a spirit medium, but kept his "expert testimony" lol I'll try and find the files, but my filing system is crap. wp

This isn't exactly WT publication vs WT publication but it is WT publication vs action which shows contradiction and hypocrisy.

I don't have the references handy but I like using the WT article that supports DFing people who join the YMCA or other organizations that are religious or political in nature and then compare that to the WTS becoming associated with the DPI of the UN as an NGO.

Up to the death of Rutherford they did have an open love affair with the occult, well spotted, publishing the sayings of demons is the ultimate eye opener regarding their real nature, it smacks of masonic syncretism. They also encourage non JWs to examine their religion but absolutely forbid their own members to do so.

Representation Flip-Flops! Are Jehovah's Witnesses representatives of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society? Yes or No? Watchtower-1961-July-15-p. 445 "Some employers, on learning that the congregation servant was to be given free training to equip him for more effective overseership, marveled at the interest shown by the organization in those who represent it." http://www.badongo.com/pic/285397 Kingdom Ministry-February-1989 "Therefore, publishers do well to avoid representing themselves as agents or representatives of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., or any othercorporation used by "the faithful and discreet slave" to advance Kingdom interests." http://www.badongo.com/pic/285383 Nevada-
