The excuses made for coming off pioneering were, at times, cringeworthy.
One minute the brother is claiming ill health and the next month he is in a full time job!
Its all down to position and status - "oh yes, my son came off because he is getting married!".
Did anyone ever watch the comedy sitcom - 'keeping up appearances'?

The entire series is available on DVD (netflix). I think I will use references to it in pointing out problems with JWs.

I have heard a few excuses for coming off, like getting married, starting a family, etc. I came off through ill - health myself, and I was off work for a while, then went back to my part - time job on reduced hours. Some "unhealthy" ex pioneers did, however, take up full - time jobs soon after quitting.
