  The next time some some self righteous bone head Witness puts Watchtower leaders up on an exalted pedestal,

  Read Numbers 12:6-8!

  The liars on the Writing Staff love to create dramas and other bilge that gives them the authority of Moses with all critics condemned

  as rebels against God but what they fail to tell you is the Bible doesn't give them any such infallibility. If they were equal to

  Moses, then they could silence their critics by performing the sort of miracles that Moses did --- and they can't.

  None of them even rise to the level of a "prophet", much less the sort of face to face intimacy that Moses had with God.

  Their whole "authority" rests on a pile of interpretations and changing ambiguities - inferior to Moses' direct inspiration.

  "When a prophet of the LORD is among you,
  I reveal myself to him in visions,
  I speak to him in dreams.

  7 But this is not true of my servant Moses;
  he is faithful in all my house.

  8 With him I speak face to face,
  clearly and not in riddles;
  he sees the form of the LORD.
  Why then were you not afraid
  to speak against my servant Moses?"

  I tried to get these verses from watchtower.org, but for some reason Numbers 12 doesn't display. Very odd.

  Very weird! The watchtower.org online bible shows the wrong chapters if Numbers chapter 2, 12, 26, or 34 are selected. Sounds like they have a corrupted database.

  Well the whole religion is corrupt, so what do you expect?

  They have no real authority over nayone, scriptural or otherwise.

  They have stepped into the shoes of Moses and also those of the apostles since the latter were -gasp- the GB of the primitive church. Moses was a shadow of the christ who delivers mankind from slavery to sin and the demonic empire. They obviously have nothing to show to verify such grandiose claims, what is certain Moses did not have any old light to be replaced by any new light, what he said was stable for well over a millenium until Christ came. Spirit inspired or directed people simply don't produce any light that becomes old, not as fast as happens with the FDS anyway.
