In many parts of the world the publishers have never met an Anointed. To counter this the Watchtower says that you show your allegiance to the Anointed by how you follow the directions of the GB. Considering the calling was supposed to close in 1935 this is a crazy notion. As 1935 becomes irrelevant history and the Anointed all but die out this is another doctrine that will require change in coming decades.
