Is anyone interested in an online book club? What are you reading now? What type of books do you enjoy reading? I'm almost finished with "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards. I normally like to read non0fiction but this is a great novel.

Sorry, I was raised in a book club which I left. They also had magazines, by the way.

    HI Sandy

I usually read nonfiction too, but I plan to read more fiction because it supposedly helps the memory and also to break the JW shackles.

I'm getting ready to start "Movies and the Meaning of LIfe. A Philosopher's take on Hollywood."

I'm going out today to pick up a copy of "My Sister's Keeper" about a girl who was conceived to save her sister from cancer. At some point she decides she doesn't want to help her sister. I'm trying to read more novels myself.

Sandy, I just finished reading, "Left to Tell" by Immaculee Ilibagiza. She survived the Rwandan holocaust. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone. I've never read a book that moved me as much.

Thanks Tweetie, I will definitely check that book out. Hotel Rwanda was an excellent movie, so moving. The kind of courage some people have is absolutely astonishing. I like to think I have that kind of courage. I know for my loved ones I'd die or fight for but total stangers . . . well that is something different.
