Dreamscape and Nightmares your subconscious Watchtower thoughts

Having been in the organization for a while produces a certain subconscious attachment due to
all the "mental regulating" by the organization. This may or may not affect some individuals
but there is a likelihood that the Watchtower's "mental regulating" still does carry some
    influence.

    Even in my own Dreams

Personally, I would appreciate any audience input regarding dreams or re-
occurring nightmares experienced by anyone after they left the organization.

I have this dream that I enter the Kingdom Hall and everything is in a shade
of black and white except for the podium where everything on stage is in full
color. All the individuals that are standing in front of the podium are faceless
and I am strapped down in a chair encased in a plastic cubicle.

I am screaming to the top of my lungs pounding my fists against the
plastic cubicle and nobody seems to hear me—except one "sister"
who turns and gives me a sly, evil grin; and then she turns her back
to me to continue singing the Kingdom melodies.

    What does this mean?

    Can anyone related to this?
Do you have "Watchtower dreams" ?
The question I have regarding this is— why am I having these "Watchtower dreams" ?

Any information that you wish to share to
benefit yourself or others would be truly
    appreciated.

    Respectfully,

    The Wanderer

I don't personally have those sort of dreams, thank goodness. I did have a couple when I first left, as I wondered if I'd done the right thing in leaving, but as I progressed away from the org, my guilty feelings, as I believe that's what they were, have gradually receded, and I don't lie awake thinking of life in the wts anymore, nor dream about it when I am asleep.

Several times I have had dreams that they reinstated me and I had to go back, and the rest of my family was still out and I was stuck back in the KH, and there was nothing I could do. I had to obey because I was reinstated.

Yes...I have dreams like this at least twice a week. I am always at the KH or a bookstudy and I CANNOT figure out how I got there or WHY I was there. When I go to say something....my throat is closed up and I can't get any words to come out.

These only seem to last a very few minutes, but they irritate me. Sometimes I secretly wonder if I stopped spending so much of my time online with being on here...or an another forum (I just finally had enough of and announced I was leaving last night)....if I would continue to have these dreams so often.

Seeing as how I don't plan to stop posting here.... I guess I'll never get to figure out if that's the reason, LOL!

    hugs,

Annie...still pulling on the panty-hose, dresses and heels in my dreams.....

Apparently some are more impressionable than others. Sorry about your dream of sitting in the KH with a bubble. Yuck.

I don't have any WT dreams. I do have some wild dreams but none involving the KH or the other witnesses. If I have, they have been totally validating my escape.... That's always a plus.
