Dear Friends,
It all started over a year ago when my best friend sent me Terry's life story. I didn't know what to make of it at the time though I surely could relate to much of what I read. Now and again, I received this and that information regarding "The Truth" from Friend, the pioneer who was the first to take me out in service some forty years ago. Then one day I received "The Testimony of Nils and Sherry Jansma" in the mail (www.exjws.net), with a note asking if I had known them at Bethel. YES! I got hold of them through an email account since I didn't know how else to contact them. I hadn't seen them in about thirty years and we just spent ten wonderful hours together this weekend. So many reunions lately. My fortieth high school reunion, Nils' fiftieth and, most recently, our thirtieth.
Sherry commented in the article that at Bethel she had learned to stop crying and work hard. Previous to that, at the opening of the article, is the scripture in Mark about the sown seed that sprouts yet no one knows how. We work hard to help others break free, often with tears of frustration and anguish. "They who sow in tears, shall reap in joy." (Psalm 125:5) Well, Terry, Nils and Sherry: Thank you for planting the seed. JWD has watered it. God is making it grow.
Yours truly,
