Just saw this on Google search on Jehovah's Witnesses:

They were raised Jehovah's Witnesses in Montana's Big Sky country. Now they're after stardom in Los Angeles' pop-music universe. They are good-looking identical-twin brothers who, unbeknownst to their family, also happen to be gay. Can the two young men who make up the duo Nemesis navigate the challenges cluttering their path to success? That's the tale unfolding on "Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising," a reality series that premieres 10 p.m. Monday on the Logo network — the cable channel that targets gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender viewers. It starts as the twins are at a critical crossroads: They need a hit record or they face being dropped from their label, which wants to market them as openly gay artists. Confronting their family with the truth will be particularly difficult: The church will instruct their parents never to speak with them again. The lads will make their revelation — on camera, of course — before taking the steps beyond that, en route to their dreams.

Seems like more and more EX Witnesses are getting in the news about getting on with their life. Maybe Ted Jaracz should don a dress and start a new life! LOL

It's good to see. Experiences like their's with the expected consequences re their family if they come out, highlight the kind of organisation the wts really is, and the way they don't care about splitting families if it protects their image. Good luck to the two of them.

    Dear Randy,

Thought I'd be the first to respond though I have to be off to the dentist in 5. Seems there's all kinds of coming out, right? Thanks, too, for reply to thread on the Jansmas. Will fill you in more later when we talk or email. You do know me! With you in Christ.

    Yours truly,

It'll be interesting to see how the family reacts.

    Thanks Compound,

Actually they have a good single "#1 in Heaven" which I heard on the radio but didn't have any idea they were ex-JWs!

By the way, the "dress" was not intended to offend anyone except Teddy boy.

I think this is great. I wish I had known of a group like Nemesis Rising when I was growing up as a gay JW.

My first reaction is that its made up and fiction. But then Ive lived long enough to know that sometimes life can be stranger than fiction.

I saw this article about them. Interesting boys. Heard the song-my teenage daughter didn't like it nor did I, much, but I wish them well, I think they are up for some hell in the next few months. Kind of hard for them to 'fade'.
