I saw "The Departed" the other night and I absolutely loved it. It's very violent though, I must warn those of you who are a little sensitive like myself. Leonardo DiCaprio was excellent, to say the least. I was never a fan of his. With the exception of What's Eating Golbert Grape I don't care for his movies/acting. But he is so good in this movie . . . The movie was so intense. I was worried for his safety throughout the whole movie. Anyone else see it? If so, what did you think?

I went to see it last night and LOVED it. I didn't want to get up even for a second because I was afraid to miss anything. I actually really liked Mark Wahlberg in that movie, his characters lines were so harsh, but insanely funny. I am definitely going to see it again- very soon.

yeah I like all the characters and Mark Wahlberg was great too. I was just really blown away by Leonardo DiCaprio. But I just remembered I loved him in "Catch Me If You Can" and though I didn't like that he seemed to young for the role in "Aviator", I really liked that movie too. I thought Alec Baldwin was pretty good too, very funny. It's definitely a movie I'd see over again. And paying $10 bucks at the theater didn't hurt at all this time.

Yeah, I was pretty blown away at just HOW MANY great actors they had in that movie. Your right though. I don't particularly like Leo. He was great in a couple movies he's done, but he was downright perfect for this role. -

I definitely think this is oscar worthy . . . I loved the soundtrack too . . . Loved that they were playing Patsy Cline's song "Sweet Dreams" I don't know though, what the big deal about Training Day. I think this one though . . . "The Departed" will definitely be a classic.
