I received a call early this afternoon from my best friend who had their CO visit this week. Her congregation was informed of the news at their meeting for field service, straight from the CO, who could not go out due to the other obligations he now had with this assignment. (She's a regular pioneer in Mississippi and I'm in Nevada.) When she asked if I was going to tell anyone, I declined. Not that I didn't believe her, but, I felt I would be showing submission to theocratic order by waiting until the brothers told us here. I felt it would be putting the cart before the horse so to say and it certainly was not my place to go ahead of the brothers. Only after our congregation is informed would I then feel free to talk about it. Maybe it seems like a small thing but would it not be the congregation body's responsibility to inform
the flock? Surely it is exciting news and lovingly the slave class has again provided the most effective tools for us to use. Like discussing new releases and info from assemblies could not the same principle apply here? Just a thought. It's natural for us to be eager to continue in our work, especially at this time but Jehovah is a God of order (1 Cor 14:33) and makes the way for us always to accomplish His will, His way. Isaiah 55:11.
Christian love to all.
