The girl is only son of parents who are Testemunhas de Jehovah and they had not accepted the treatment. The Advice To tutor appealed to Justice. “Article 98 of the Statute of the Child and the Adolescent, paragraph 2º, says that we can set in motion Justice for omission of the parents or abuse of the familiar power”, the Conceição council member explained Pimentel.

This may be the life that she had hoped that essay could save. It really does seem that all the news is bad for Watchtower these days.

Brazilian court didn't use the Kerry essay. Here in Brazil, all courts authorized blood transfusion when hospitals came to court. A rule in Sao Paulo's Court since the 1990s leads to this conclusion.
the website "Rosazul Documentos" is mine. In December 2005 I and some other friends sent some emails to authorities to watch the Service Meeting regarding Blood Transfusions Question and parents, but no results.
