Okay... this is how my mind works...sometimes...when I'm avoiding doing my work.

Based upon the dimensions given in the Bible, the new Jerusalem is pretty big. If only 144,000 actually get to go inside and live there, That would mean that each room is more than 22,000 CUBIC MILES in volume!!! (of course this doesn't account for parks, rivers, and starbucks).... Sounds kinda' lonely to me.

But the new earth, being superimposed on this old one, needs to handle at least the approximately 4.5 billion people now living and a good part of the approximately 32+ billion former residents who have died in the past. Not to mention a lion or tiger or koala bear for each little family farm. And since we have no clear idea how long it will be before the big switchover, maybe another 4.5 billion or so every 25 years from now?

Sounds pretty crowded down here, doesn't it?

Talk about a policy of heavenly elite-ism!
