We have had so much fun! Darling little children to our door with their parents behind them.....Our dogs wanting to kiss everyone.

One batch came with a little black kitten so we have had to contain the dogs since then.

In all my years in the JW society I have never felt such joy. It felt so good to see these little darlings asking for treats. I let them take all they wanted.

How could anyone deny them other than the JWs.

Bumble bee, I am still hoping for more! I also don't want all this candy sitting around tempting us.

I feel like I've never had a happier smile after I saw these little ones at my door. Sweetness personified! Tiny little angels, Cinderellas, etc.

    Hasn't this been fun?!

Halloween is fun for kids of all ages. I just walked through one of our college dorms passing out candy and tickets to a ball game. They didn't expect someone passing candy and tickets out, which added to the fun.

It sure beats passing out the Tower's crap on Saturday morning.

I just posted this on another thread. My kids had a lot of fun doing thier first Halloween ever tonight. They came home with a HUGE bag with candy, popcorn, pretzels, pencils, play dough and all kinds of goodies. It struck me how generous our nieghbors were to kids that are complete strangers to them.

I did not see anything bad about it at all and am glad I finally did it! I am looking forward to it again next year and yes seeing all those smiling kids in their cute costumes was great too. So glad my kids are still young enough to get a few Halloweens in, they really enjoyed it. Lilly

I just had two teenagers at my door dressed as scary as could be. Yet they were so polite. Everyone who comes to the door is offered a huge basket of candy, and I tell them take as much as you like, and every trick-r -treater has taken one item from aged 5 to 15 and then thanked me. This is not what the WT ever pictured I'm sure.

How I wish I could have done this as a kid!

    Lilly and Java,

Nothing like making kids happy to make your own heart smile!

My first time giving candy out .....the kids were so cute ! One little guy walked right in and said " where's the candy ! " He was only about three it was so funny . My husband hid upstairs with the lights off like we did for years ! Bah humbug for him . I even put up a Pirate Scarecrow that I had made for a display at work , the kids loved it when they walked by . My son came home from work and looked at me like I had lost my mind (he just wanted to eat all the candy himself ) There are four witness families on my block , I wonder if they noticed our porchlight on ! Bet they wish they could be nice and give out candy to little kids too.
