Yeah!!! I recently completed the final 7th stage of my recovery journey...
But guess what??? With this particular group of a**holes you get to go right back to steps 3 and 4 and stay there as long as you like!
Or... at least as long as they keep doing what they keep doing.
Some specialist say that these are the typical stages of emotional recovery:
1 Confusion
2 Denial
3 Anger
4 Depression
5 Testing
6 Acceptance
7 Adjustment
If you accept these as applying to you, what level are you at?
The coolest thing about recovery?

Dang. I would love to say that I am farther along, after all these years I have been out! Unfortunately, for almost all of those years, I was firmly entrenched in DENIAL.
Finding these boards, reading about the UN involvement, seeing family members studying to join this madness... I have to admit it... I'm really angry now.

I'm on a circular between 5-6-7
I think it's an ongoing process which wiil take as long as it takes to sort through every issue. Maybe the rest of my life, who knows?

Gordon,
I believe they did apply but that I have now gone beyond them.

Like Ian above I have gone well beyond the 7th and now more concerned with keeping myself healthy and in tune spiritually.

I flutter between acceptance and confusion.
