One of my friends at work brought me the tract, she said they left it at her door. I was so excited to finally read it for myself, I was grinning ear to ear when she handed it to me.

After reading it over I did find one inconsistency---- If you look on the back there is an advertisement for the "pay attention" brochure. If you look closely at the 2 African women in the pic above, well those women are reading this brochure, if you look close enough you will see it is the same "pay attention" brochure, however there is one minor difference in details. In the one pic it is a black man in a shirt and tie, in the pic below, it is definitely an older white man. It kinda shocked me that those 2 pics were'nt exactly alike, even though both men were dressed the same.

    Good catch, Dave!

Yes, they use a variety of ethnic images on the covers, depending on the language or where the publication is to be distributed. There's a display at Walkill showing the a single Watchtower issue with all the different cover languages/ethnic images represented.

Their use of branding is no different than any other for-profit corporation looking to hook customers, like McDonalds or Pepsi Cola.

Yeah, they do this with women's mags too- like for the same month, there is a european edition of Elle and also a latina edition, all with different looking women.

I actually liked this about the WT and Awake- not just shoving pics of white people down the throats of west africans or something. But I guess they shove their western traditions down their throats soon enough...

Yeah, we got ours today. It was stuck in our door while we weren't at home. I wish I'd been here when they came to the door.

Speaking of altering covers per the applicable sales market, I couldn't resist posting the following. Please notice the country of distribution under each issue:

    Newsweek International Edition

I have the tract too. It is an Australian version. It has an advertisement for the 'Keep on the Watch!' brochure, not the 'pay attention' brochure, but believe it or not it also has an old white guy in the large picture of the brochure, and an old black guy on the back of the brochure being held by the black sisters.

    Okay folks,

I appreciate the descriptions of old guys looking different ... but what does the damn brochure say? What is the supposed message that the Witchtower Society has told the mind-numbed JWs is going to cause trouble?

YaddaYadda you are right, it was the "keep on the watch brochure" my bad.

Amazing, it was just another piece of WT crap that was meant to tarnish Christendom. Funny thing is unless I overlooked something, I never once saw the words "Babylon the Great" in it, even though it did mention the harlot riding the back of the beast, and yes there was a pic of a priest on there too. They had the gall to condemn other churches for their pedophile problems, while they have had just as much a problem as any other organization.
