  Short, sweet and straight to the point!
  My wife's cousin is a Jehovah's Witness and she never stops trying to slip religion in when she phones.

  My wife has developed cancer and today asked her cousin to pray for her and the reply was that they didn't pray for other people, except to pray that they become Witnesses as well.

  These people believe that they are the ONLY ones going to "Heaven" and everyone else is damned.

  As if this wasn't bad enough my wife says that the Witnesses (according to her cousin) actually drive around in the best neighbourhoods and pick what house they want to live in when everybody is sent to hell and they are left with "Heaven on Earth!"

  I called her cousin and told her never to phone here again!!!!!!!!

  Smartest move, Moses ever made.

  Also, there's an error in the title of this thread. I think the "too sad" should be replaced with "ALRIGHT." While it's sad that the witness has to have such a deplorable attitude toward her family, these are the kind of incidents that allow people to see the truth about the jw.

  Ive never heard of a JW refusing to pray for someone !

  Some are so legalistic they never think what damage they do with their thoughtless comments.

  Oh yes . .picking out of houses and cars that we would have . . .we played that game out in service many times. How sick were we???

  It always amazes me that JWs are so scrupulous not to "stumble" a brother, yet say the most outrageous, thoughtless things to non- or ex-JWs, not caring whether their statements permanently injure them or their opinion of the WTS. JWs claim they are saving lives, not steering them toward destruction.
  
  If the bliblical millstone analogy were literal, no JW would be able to walk from the weight of their cruelty.
