It seems like it could be a very time consuming energy hole to go down, or maybe an entertainment escape hole. I would guess it is a fantasy game.
Yes, I saw it when it first came out. Looks interesting, but I just can't get into MMORPGs anymore. I was in one of the first ones, on AOL, Neverwinter Nights, back in the very early nineties, and I spent a ton of time and money on that.
It's entertaining, but it's a very big waste of time.

I agree... it's a black hole for time and energy.
Someone would be far more productive if they spent the same amount of time counting grains of salt.
So this is obviously old news, lol, it's new to me.
I checked it out and thought that the effects were pretty cool.
I don't know about hanging out and buying and selling land. Seems like you guys said, it can consume a lot of time.
I never heard of Neverwinter Nights.
I take it this type of thing has been around for a while then.

Well, not in this sort of incarnation. The older ones were just RPGs where you created a character, collected items, took quests with other people playing it online and chatted with people. These were you are actually creative partners in the world are relatively new. I believe Ultima Online was the first, then Everquest, then World of Warcraft.
There is a little free one - www.endless-online.com
It's not nearly as flashy though.
oh!
So this is like a RPG. Aha, now I understand what a role playing game is.
I have been on a site where they had a sepereate rpg forum and I thought it sounded interesting, but I didn't "get it".
Now I do, thank you.
I still have much to learn in the internet world apparently.
I'm at 518,389 grains.

Kosher, dead sea or table?
How many grains are you up, elsewhere?
