Here's a silly thought.

    By mutual collusion we could drain a little money from the WTS coffers, and perhaps stop them from making that convert they seek.

    Plan;

    Every apostate here that is unknown in his/her territory by the local witnesses, shows interest in having the WTS literature when they come around the next time. Don't carry on much conversation, just take all the lit they will give you and show enough interest to get them coming back. Get on their magazine route, ask for a NWT Bible, take every 'new release'. But never really carry on a conversation with them outside of asking for literature. Never contribute.

    By thus doing, several things are accomplished;

    1 - The WTS spends money on literature that gets thrown onto your rubbish heap.

    2- The local pub/pio spends valuable time bringing you literature, making it possible that he/she might miss that 'good call'.

    3- The publisher will continue to come because you are an 'easy' call, easy placements.

    4- You stay in the forefront with the latest 'new light', thus being blessed by Jehovah in ways unimagined by most good apostates.

    Well - the last one is tongue in cheek, but the rest are true.

    I was going to try to be that "easy" call where I would just take the mags and ask for them to leave them if I am not here when the tract came through....but I did not even have enough time to answer the door and they pretty much ran! They rang once and took off...I'll bet the tract was in the door before they even rang...LOL!

    Great Idea Jeff but what if you have already called a local cong. in your area and they know or suspect apostasy? If you call a different area they will just call the local cong in your area and refer you to them.

    I know, Hambeak. Wouldn't work for me either. I am wearing the big Scarlet Letter already. "A" for Apostate.

    LOL Me too I guess they sure are timid and no foundation when hit with deep questions. Come to think of it what started their suspicions was when I asked for a copy of the Aid book and they brought me Insight on the Scriptures. They asked me how I would use it I told them I already read it and the response was HOW? I said cover to cover the response was Both Volumes? I said yep, a lot like the aid book but not quite as indepth. I must have scared the hell out of them. LOL

    We wouldn't get away with it either, we are well known apostates in our area. Still, we could always ask one of our never - jw friends to do it...

    fullofdoubtnow Absolutely great idea I just might try it with my other half they don't know him but he works with me here so they might get suspicious and tell him not to show any literature to me LOL

    I might consider this, but only if I move to a house that requires 'real fuel' for now I've got central heating...

    AK Jeff,

    I was doing that till my ex-husband ratted me out to the local congregation. When our son moved in with me he assumed that I and my son might be interested in reinstatement. The elder who's wife had been friendly with me for 2 years bringing me literature was really pissed off that his wife and him and had been decieved by me. I of course had never told them I was an ex-witness. Now they imagine Satan & demons were testing them. LOL LOL

    I have a very nice fading witness locally though that is keeping me in supply of literature to continue helping those who are interested in leaving the WTBTS.
