There goes Pat Robertson again, stealing the best stuff from the WT's teachings, claiming it as his own, and getting the kind of publicity that the Society can't even get with a worldwide tract campaign!

the video would not work for me. This is odd because most of time I have no problem with videos working.

Robertson Says All Other Religions Worship “Demonic Powers”
A viewer wrote in to ask Pat Robertson a question
Why [do] evangelical Christians tell non-Christians that Jesus (God) is the only way to Heaven? Those who are Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, etc. already know and have a relationship with God. Why is this? It seems disrespectful.
Robertson replied that it is not all disrespectful because all other religions really just worship “demonic powers.”
No. They don’t have a relationship. There is the god of the Bible, who is Jehovah. When you see L-O-R-D in caps, that is the name. It’s not Allah, it’s not Brahma, it’s not Shiva, it’s not Vishnu, it’s not Buddha. It is Jehovah God. They don’t have a relationship with him. He is the God of all Gods. These others are mostly demonic powers. Sure they’re demons. There are many demons in the world.

It's a wonder the wts don't invite him to join the governing body lol!
Seriously, I would think some of the members of the religions he slagged off would pe a little pi**ed off about his remarks. It doesn't seem to take much to uset some of these people.

Many religions use the name Jehovah. JW's have brainwashed us all to believe they are the only ones. The Salvation Army uses it all the time.

I got this in my e-mail, from an old witness friend. They quoted the scripture that says, "Even the stones will cry out."
I thought it was silly, as there are many people who recognize Jehovah, as being God's name, big deal!
The witnesses think these are milestones, and proof that the end is imminent, due to the fact that the entire world is hearing the name Jehovah....

I think you miss the point.
Every time Pat Robertson opens his mouth with stuff like this, he gets a big flurry of publicity. The press carries it, it becomes news for at least a little while.
Meanwhile, the WT has a WORLDWIDE TRACT CAMPAIGN that basically delivers the same message, with 6 million faithful dumping tons of paper all over the Earth, and ....... nothing. Not even a blip of comment in the news, even when the JW press office issues an official release. The WTBS would kill for "bad publicity" like this (as opposed to the publicity they've been gettting lately, what with child abuse, tax evasion, etc). Then ol' Pat comes along, and effortlessly gets the spotlight on himself. Maybe the Society ought to have its own cable TV station, like Robertson does...

I get the point. The Witnesses are being all but ignored in their important tract work. I was told by a Witness that the people are just basically laughing at this tract . They find it to be just what it is-a joke.
