My right wrist hurts every time that I use the mouse. I've got a towel under my wrist now. Anybody got any cures for a sore wrist? How to use the internet without hurting yourself! I cracked up on that one myself!

Do you use a wrist rest in front of your keyboard or have a mouse pad that has one built in? I type for a living and have to use a wrist rest being at the keyboard for a long period of time. That may help.

You can get carpal tunnel braces for pretty cheap at the drug store...then if you wear them at night or when useing the puter, it should help.

Could be RSI (repetitive strain injury). Take frequent breaks and perform exercises on the joints affected.

My Carpel tunnel syndrome was helped very much by taking rosehip extract:

Ms McD, my daughter has it and uses a wrist brace. I, personally have found that a change in the height at which I use the mouse has a beneficial affect on wrist pain. I'm on the computer a LOT every day. The height of my chair helps to keep my wrist level or just below level with my elbow which prevents the stress on my wrist. Check the position your wrist is in when using the mouse. If your wrist is arched when using the mouse, this may be your problem.

The main thing is to change the level or height of your chair in order to change the position of your wrist when maneuvering the mouse.
