Andy and I go to a program with our five year old grandson that involves child led play therapy. I am wondering if any of you have done this kind of therapy or know anything about it. Did it work for you or your child or other children you know of?

    Dear FHN,

I realize that this is a stretch, but I just couldn't bear to see this thread go unattended! I'm a teacher at a private school and I train the students to become little teacher's-aides. They love helping me---they feel so important. I listen to their version of what I have taught them (as expressed to another student) and determine if they have gotten the point. Fellow students are cooperative and receptive to each little teacher's instruction. In so many ways it is good "therapy" for them and me.

    Educationally yours,

    CoCo

Yup. One of my staff leads such sessions. It's very good.

I have to dash out, so I can't comment more right now. Back Monday.

    Thank you, Compound.

Would love to hear what you have to say about this, Little Toe. Mickey has regressed a lot emotionally since he started this therapy. I think he should be improving. I haven't found a lot of info on the type of results to expect.
