In July 2001, a mysterious red rain started falling over a large area of southern India. Dr Louis discover that there were tiny biological cells present, but because they did not appear to contain DNA, the essential component of all life on Earth, he reasoned they must be alien lifeforms. All the experiments are supporting this claim and the world's scientist are taking this seriously.

If your looking for a response, a cell with out dna or something like it, a code, is not much to comment about. A cell is a small room, a drop is a liquid globule. So I ask what were the cells made of? Something alien to earth? A new element or elements? Then you might have something.

I'd be inclined to go for the Arabian dust theory - we had it here a few years ago when th wind took an unusual change of direction.

The other possibility which seems to have been overlooked is a 'blowout' from a dye manufacturer - my former employers used to occasionally turn everything in the locality strange shades of pink!!

Did anyone notice that this article is about Wickramasinghe, quoted in the Creation book? Where he is quoted out of context saying things like, "it's highly improbable that life evolved on earth", he is really suggesting it fell from the sky as alien life forms.

What a lovely list of quotations that book has at the end... makes it look so official.
