I was talking to one of the mums at the school this morning and she asked what the JW mums did for work, she thought they must have good jobs because they always dress really smart when picking the kids up, I told her "No, they don't work, the blonde one is a window cleaners wife and the dark one is on the dole", well I don't think she believed me because they dress in expensive clothes and always got a face full of paint and hair all done nice.
I guess its just another sign of their fakeness.
They are suppoused to be representing God in all aspects of their life. (Honestly I think it makes them feel superior).
Is it really a sign of fakeness though?
Just because you have a poorly paid job or are unemployed doesn't mean you have to 'look the part'. The same way that some wealthy people don't always look it either.
The impression created in someone elses mind by the way you look/dress is their 'problem'.
The last time I had a report about a JW sister in Anglesey, they said, "She looked like an old bag lady".
So not all JW's in Anglesey are well groomed!
