We have updated the www.knocking.org web site. Now it includes video samples and extras. You can see: select scenes from the documentary, the "Street Witnessing" short film from the DVD and web-only footage from Q&A sessions after screenings in Dallas and Austin. The Texas Q&A sessions feature the directors and most of the cast speaking live on stage. The new web site also includes many behind-the-scenes photos from the making of the documentary.

Extra copies of our study guide (48-pages of historical and social analysis) are now available in packs of 5 and 10 to make it easier for you to share the information with others without giving up your own copy. Even though the study guide is a PDF file on each DVD, we've gotten many requests for the booklet in printed form with its glossy full-color pages and high quality binding.

KNOCKING GOES DOWN UNDER
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has selected KNOCKING for national broadcast in 2007. For those who don't live down under, KNOCKING will be broadcast nationally in the United States on the PBS series "Independent Lens" May 22, 2007. Hopefully more countries will broadcast KNOCKING. We will keep you posted.

Oh my god. Someone has an itchy trigger finger(the director of Knocking) on the comment section of this trailer for Knocking on You Tube. I posted this comment:
Why did Joel avoid answering the question about why he did not become a JW? Is it because the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society does not allow gay people to become members of the faith?
***Edited to add: The woman's question to Joel is asked at 1:58 into the video*** My comment was gone within 5-10 minutes of being posted. I wonder if Joel is worried that if it becomes known that he is gay, will the jw's refrain from buying his video?
BTW, where is that thread which showed that Joel was in fact gay? I think we should hammer out a bunch of comments and links that point viewing jw's to his sexual preference.
**Disclaimer: I have no problem with gay people AT ALL. I'm just curious to see why Joel is appearing to try and hide this fact from the JW faithful.**
