I just saw the preview for Charlotte's Web the other day, I'll definitely be seeing it :)

I hope it's a good quality adaptation...I'll probably see it on video. I tho feel like I loose a little bit of my childhood every time a classic old movie or film is superseded by a new adaptation. First, Willy Wonka (I hated the new version; yes, it's closer to the novel except for the silly new ending, but the classic movie vastly IMPROVED the story over the novel and the characerizations were far superior), and now Charlotte's Web....and yes, that old cartoon is near and dear to me. EB White's Trumpet of the Swan however was my favorite book of all my childhood, and I haven't yet seen an adaptation of that. I dearly hope it won't face the same fate as the insipid Stuart Little movie....And dear Lord, I will cry if they think we need a new Wizard of Oz movie....:{
