  I tried and tried and tried...But I could not resist. I HIGHLIGHTED my wife's January 1 WT.

  The comment highlighted..."Could it then be reasoned that since jesus was enthroned in the fall of 1914,the resurection of his faithful annointed followers began three and a half years later, in the spring of 1918?

  That is an interesting possibility...Although this can not be directly confirmed in the bible...

  For 50 years this was FACT and BIBLICAL...NOW they blow it off with one sentence....JW..Lurkers take note....

  They did this with the generation change in 1995 and the dubs are too stupid to notice the changes.

  I am sure my wife will try to ignore the whole thing and not respond to it.

  Up until about 1969 or 1970, the JWs taught that the Great Tribulation STARTED in 1914, was cut short IN THE MIDDLE, and would conclude with Armageddon after the harvest was complete. I had to try to explain this nonsense for my whole young life. Notice this artcle in The Watchtower of March 15, 1951 (scanned in its entirety to verify context -- scroll to the right and look for the black circle and the highlighted text). This article was written about 18 months before I was born, I cut my teeth on this doctrine so to speak.

  Hard for me to believe that I ever took this CRAP seriously.
