I've been having headaches everyday! I didn't know why I was having them. I thought that I could have a tumor on my brain, migraines, sinus headache, or just my nerves! Oh yeah, I also thought that I was a hypochondriac and/or I was just crazy.
Turn out it is my nerve/s. The occipital nerve. My ENT said that I have Occipital Neuritis. He gave me four injections of a numbing agent mixed with a steriod. Wallah! The pain in my neck, scalp, and eyes starting abating almost immediately. The injections were given into the back of my skull around the nerve/s area. When the doctor was giving me the injections, he could hear (I could hear it too.) this crunching sound. He said "Wow, you've really got a lot of muscle fibrosis!". I guess that's why the other term for the disorder is cervical fibrosis.
I do have a little bit of a sinus infection, too. So, he gave me an antibiotic to take at home.
