Well, after years of indecision and inability to settle into any real career, I have finally decided on a viable, meaningful one for me; and it's one that has endless potential (for work, at least).
I am doing research now and will probably take some courses and apply for SBC grants to start my own small-scale recycling business.
I already have a few potential clients in the people for whom I currently work, and will hopefully have references and other clients from them.
Meanwhile, I'll continue plugging away at my current line of work and begin to educate myself in business, environmental science, and management, etc.
I look forward to the challenges and rewards to come. (I'm also sick of my stagnating financial situation) and want to do something that I find meaningful, and recycling is it!
I might as well, since recycling has been like my personal religion for a number of years now; and I'm scandalized by the waste I see daily that could be reduced and/or re-used, rather than being uselessly dumped into city-sized landfills and into the oceans.
I know I will be happier doing something good for the planet that also helps others do what they want, which is the same; only they want someone else to do it for them; and I'm the gal for that job!
