Went to MY JW Aunt's Memorial

I really enjoyed meeting all the old friends I knew back in my JW days. I saw several of my relatives I hadn't seen in years. It's funny, they all seem so old.

I didn't know several of them until they told me who they were. The brother who gave the memorial service did a good job. It was so different from the times when I was giving them. He talked about my aunt and her life, even mentioned how much she liked cats. I asked about some of the ones I knew and they had died. My wife went with me and they were friendly with her also.

It was held in the new KH they built a couple of years ago.

Ken....I am glad it was a nice service. When I hear of things like that, I wonder if the person who gave the talk may be wise to the things we know also. You and your family are in my thoughts all the time. I hope things start looking up for your family.

Glad to see that you had a pleasant experience, just because a person may disagree with a persons beliefs or actions doesn't mean that they should be mean. I always use the expression if you can't do something nice for someone (or be nice) why are we here?
