    Adrian White, an analytic social psychologist at the University's School of Psychology, analysed data published by UNESCO, the CIA, the New Economics Foundation, the WHO, the Veenhoven Database, the Latinbarometer, the Afrobarometer, and the UNHDR, to create a global projection of subjective well-being: the first world map of happiness.

    Here is a list of the top 20 happiest countries:

    5. The Bahamas
    6. Finland
    7. Sweden
    8. Bhutan
    9. Brunei
    10. Canada
    11. Ireland
    12. Luxembourg

    General happiness was related to good healthcare, a higher GDP per captia, and access to education.

    Im not surprised the US is not mentioned.

    Wonder how much that guy got paid to figure that out.

    I have heard many bragging about Germany...and the US....of course (for those that live here)........I guess I need to move!

    Combine this with the 'Least Corrupt Countries' being 1) Finland and 2) New Zealand, it looks like the top and bottom ends of the world are good places to live.

    However, NZ has one of, if not the highest, rate of youth suicide in the world.

    I used to work for a Danish company and they were pretty keen on their Heineken and Gammeldansk bless 'em.
