  I remember hearing so much about how advanced things were in Bethel. I remember hearing about how technologically advanced things were there, that they used the latest, greatest gadgets, the best quality material to manufacture books and tapes, how efficiently things ran, how clean things were, blah blah blah. Also, the "org behind the name" video helped reinforce that.

  After reading the "Two Week Consulting Trip to Bethel" and my own experience fixing those damn Kingdom Melody tapes, I realize it's all bullcrap.

  What are your experiences with "Bethel Technology"?

  well they still deserve credit for the MEPS thing... but as for stuff running efficiently, how can it ever be inefficient when people work for pennies an hour? NIKE is run efficiently, no?

  Not to defend the watertower, but dont all tapes go bad after playing them repeatedly after about a year?

  It wasn't the best technology, but I guess it was the best at the time. It was better than those big 8 tracks. It was portable vs. a record player.

  How well are cd's holding up. I know they get scratched. I wish the sony mini disc would have taken off. The media is protected in a cover.
