Notice how Very Clean these jehovah's Witnesses are as they Laugh and Romp Away from a Scene of Utter Devastation of Life & Property... and compare their cleanliness to the appearance of those frantic survivors of the WTC Bombings, who narrowly escaped with their lives.
They were bleeding, torn, bruised, clothing in disarray, shoeless (reports afterward of thousands of shoes in the streets because the people were fleeing so fast, they literally ran out of their shoes!) and completely covered in gray, brown and black dust.
But pictured above, the "survivors" are leisurely strolling away from the Most Horrific Scene Imaginable and the little girl in the cute white dress managed to remain Spotless.
When you were a jw, did you enjoy thinking about the eventual deaths of billions of ppl? Was Armageddon an experience that you hoped would last foreever when/if it arrived in your lifetime?
Tallyman - correct me if I am wrong, but perhaps they look so clean because their robes have been washed white in the blood of the lamb.

Indeed, their "acts of sorrow" hold no merit when expressed, after viewing their very own literature. Literature perhaps they do not print themselves, yet truly "endorse" such "spiritual porn" by preaching what IS printed and by studying every word and taking "It" as "Gods spoken words".

I have heard some rotten things in reference to the witness reaction, (a few which i witnessed), but a friend who is no longer a JW told me that people at bethel were actually helping the day of the attack (he found out through family). Which always makes me feel that the years weren't all wasted. I hope it makes all of us care a little more.
But, for the most part, just like my dad, most witnesses were whispering scriptures in excitment, and not sorrow.
I think my heart goes out to them, too. We've lost out innocence and they their humanity.
